New York State Police picked up Tammy Roacher on June 15 on a fugitive warrant in Oswegatchie, N.Y. She was living with her mother in her hometown of Heuvelton, N.Y., and working at a nearby auto repair shop, according to published reports.
On July 6, Roacher waived extradition in St. Lawrence County Court. Roacher was booked into Bell County Jail on Sunday with a bail amount of $100,000.
The indictment returned against her in December 2009 was for sexual performance of a child, a first-degree felony punishable by up to life in prison.
