CAMERON - Rodney Fausett, Cameron superintendent of schools since May 2007, has been hired by the Class 4A Bay City school district as an assistant superintendent for administrative services. He will submit his resignation to the Cameron school board at a special meeting Monday.

"It just came about," Fausett said. "It will be a step up. Cameron is going 2A and I will be going to a 4A district."
