Services for Irmgard Josephine Niersmann, 80, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hillcrest Cemetery at the Pavilion.

Mrs. Niersmann died Saturday, Aug. 30, in a Temple nursing home.

She was born Aug. 30, 1928, in Bavaria, Germany. She was raised and educated in Germany and moved to the United States in the 1960s. She became a U.S. citizen and worked as a secretary in Massachusetts. She moved to Temple in 2000. She married W.H. “Willie” Niersmann on May 19, 2000, in Temple and attended St. Luke Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; and two brothers.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple.
