Financial ratings, new scoreboard discussed

The Temple school district earned the highest available ranking under the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas for the fourth year in a row, the board of trustees on at a Monday meeting.

The Temple school district earned a superior ranking for the 2004-05 school year.

The rating is based on items such as fund balance, administration cost ratio, percentage of operating expenses used for instruction, staffing ratios and investment earnings per student.

Steve Prentiss, boys athletic coordinator, reported on recently completed renovations at Wildcat Stadium. He said the scoreboard became fully operational about halfway through Friday
