FORT HOOD - Officials at Fort Hood are getting the word out to families to be wary of imposters who deliver false notifications of the death or injury of their loved ones.

Last week a savvy Army wife sent a man away from her door when he tried to deliver a hoax notification of this type, said an Army spokesman.
