The American agriculture industry is failing to provide a livelihood for its independent farmers, a situation made worse by an ineffective and inequitable farm bill, excessive imports from abroad and corporate farms at home and flaws with crop insurance policies. Some children at Scott Elementary School decided not to wait and took initiative. The Future Problem Solvers group at Scott Elementary decided to come up with a solution to provide extra shelter to homeless animals around the Temple area.
