Head Start program gets $750,000 grant

U.S. Rep. Chet Edwards, D-Waco, Thursday announced Central Texas 4C Head Start was the recipient of a $750,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to implement an Early Head Start program in Bell County. The five-year grant will help provide child development and family support services to low-income pregnant women and families, said Central Texas 4C Executive Director Janell Sherwood. by Jennifer Marciniak
