Texas hooked in the nation's top football recruiting class.Longhorns coach Mack Brown got commitments from almost every player he pursued on national signing day Wednesday, keeping the best players from talent-rich Texas at home and picking up a few key out-of-staters."They just dominated everything," said Tom Lemming of Schaumburg, Ill.-based Prep Football Report. "They are head and shoulders ahead of everyone else. After months of speculation, soul-searching and everything else that goes into picking a college, decision day arrived for the area's high school football players.Twenty-seven area players signed with colleges across the nation on Wednesday, the first day recruits could sign with colleges. Five players signed with Division I-A schools, while the rest opted for I-AA, D-II or junior colleges.Temple's lone signee was linebacker Ty Neatherlin, who signed with I-AA Southwest Texas State."Southwest Texas approached me at midseason," said Neatherlin, one of three linebackers signed by the Bobcats.
