Telegram office building is located on the corner of Central Avenue
and 3rd Street in downtown Temple. Mailing address: 10 South

What is Partners in Education?
A: The Temple Daily
Telegram's Partners
in Education program has been providing area classrooms with the
Temple Daily Telegram as a supplement to classroom curriculums for over
20 years. The PIE program has been a vital link between schools and
an important source of information - the daily newspaper. The Partners
In Education coordinator also conducts tours of the Telegram facility
for school groups or organizations and is available to give presentations
for individual classrooms, organizations, or school wide programs. For

How do I place an ad?
A: The easiest way
to place an advertisement in the paper is to call 254-778-4444 or come
by the office at 10 South 3rd Street. Information on placing a Classified

What's the difference between a Retail
Ad and a Classified Ad?
A: Location. A classified
ad is any line or display ad that appears in the Classified section
of the newspaper. These ads must be categorized and placed under a particular
heading. A retail ad is any other ad appearing in a section other than
Classifieds.

How do I find an old advertisement?
A: If you are looking
for an ad appearing in the classified section, call our Classified Dept
at 254-778-4444 to request the ad. If the ad appeared elsewhere in the
paper, you may contact our Retail Dept. at 254-778-4444. Note:
We must have a general date of publication for any ads in the past along
with information about the content in the advertisement.
Q:
How do I place an obituary?
A: The Telegram offers
both free and paid obituaries. A free obituary will
be handled by our Editorial Dept. and contain basic information about
the deceased such as name, age, date of death, planned services, and
survivors, but does not include a photograph. A paid
obituary is handled by our Retail Dept. and may contain any
amount of text along with a photo of the deceased. Individuals may wish
to run both a free and paid obit. For more information on obits, call

A: All of our policy

& Procedures page. Here you can see the rules and guidelines

announcements along with interactive forms available to fill-out and
submit to our Editorial staff. You may also check the Lifestyles

How do I send a letter to the editor?
A: Please send your
letter to the editor to our Editorial Dept. by email at tdt@temple-telegram.com

Can I purchase back issues
of the paper?
A: Yes, we keep up
to 30 days worth of newspapers in the lobby of our office building.

A: You can submit your
FYI information to our Editorial Dept. at tdt@temple-telegram.com.

not appearing online?
A: The Telegram has
in-house digital archives dating back to the year 1999. You may call
our Librarian at 254-778-4444 for more assistance. We encourage you
to visit the Temple Public Library for newspaper archives older than
1999.

the Temple Daily Telegram?
A: It is now easier

A: Home delivery
subscribers have several options when choosing their subscription package.
We home deliver papers daily within Bell and parts of adjoining counties.
We also have the ability to send papers by mail to any area inside the
U.S. Subscriptions can last between one month to a full year. Click

A: Yes, there are several
areas on our site that receive many visitors daily, and your business
could get terrific exposure! Our site gets almost 25,000 visits a week
- nearly 13,000 on just our main page! We keep detailed statistics of

A: No. The website
serves to provide an overview of the information from the daily paper
and also gives visitors enhanced, on-line only content. Each day, only
the front page news, sports, obituary, and funeral notices will be posted.
Some special weekly features like the Health
& Fitness and UnderAge
Page are also included on the web.

How do I search the archives?
A: Our on-line archives
consist of limited editions of every article posted to the web from
the front page news and sports sections along with funeral notices and
obituaries since 2003. You may search
by keyword to quickly and easily find what you are looking for on-line
or browse through
our collection of articles day-by-day.

A: Temple-Telegram.com
is updated on a daily basis with the days most recent news items. Corrections,
errors, features, or other information is updated by 9am weekdays.

commercial properties for sale or rent in Central Texas, including photographs

from members of the Temple - Belton Board of Realtors, and you can pick
one up wherever there's a Temple Daily Telegram newspaper rack - nearly

A: TDT eBid is an
online auction Web site (www.tdtebid.com).
It allows you to post your old or new items, with detailed information
and photographs, and sell them to the highest bidder. It works very
much like eBay, but is designed primarily for local buyers and sellers
and integration with the Temple Daily Telegram. You can browse the site
