BARTLETT STATE JAIL
CCA manages the 1000-bed, minimum- to medium- security
facility for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional
Division. The facility, which opened in October 1995, is located in
Bartlett on a campus – style unit includes eight buildings on 60
acres of property.
State Jail Confinees and Institutional Division transferees are housed in 18 dormitories with 50 beds each. The 142,000-square foot facility contains:

Accredited by the American Correctional Association the facility provides a wide range of programs and services. These may include Education, Religion, Counseling, Recreation, Work Programs, Community Service Work, and Substance Abuse Treatment.
